Parallel to mining and machine engineering activities diversified indastrial association «Kuzbass» actively develops the agro- industrial business, with enterprises specializing in milk production, meat production, crop and potato growing, diary products.

The holding includes:

• «Zarechye» corporate farm
• «Yurginsky» farm
• «Yurga diary».

The task of the agro-industrial complex is creation of versatile agroindustrial holding with a complete industrial-trading cycle and creation of a social trade network.

A special attention is given to upgrading the machinery and equipment, reconstruction and upgrade of premises. Large-scale investments are a path to the hi-tech production leading to a qualitatively new level which provides profitability and lowering of labour expenditures, they promote the formation of new industrial standards, raise labour productivity.

The first stage of the modern cattle breeding complex for 600 livestock heads came into operation in 2008. It is a free stall diary farm with a milking room equipped with machinery of a «WestfaliaSurge» production. It is planned to construct the second stage of the dairy unit for 1200 heads. A pig breeding complex consisting of 5 buildingsiias been completed to house 1500 heads. Reconstruction works are carried out to completely repair cattle houses, feeding barns, grain store buildings — offices, canteens and mechanical repair shops. There is a project to build a meat-processing workshop and a sausage manufacturing room. Agricultural business units purchased new machinery such as combine harvesters of «Klaas Mega », «Don», «Yuaguar» trade marks, «Konkord» and «Kuzbass» seeding machines, Italian «Lambrador» feeders, Meiner swath makers, trucks and automobiles, cultivation and other agricultural machinery.

The agro-industrial business units of the diversified indastrial association «Kuzbass» produce only organic, ecologically safe food stuff which is in great demand and highly valued by customers inside and outside our region.
