«Zarechie» charitable foundation

«Zarechie» charitable foundation was established ten years ago. Its task is to help the needy, to do good for people.

Nowadays «Zarechie» charitable foundation is a regional organization, its activity covering tens of establishments and companies all over Kuzbass.

«Zarechie» charitable foundation realizes charity projects aimed at helping employees and pensioners of enterprises of multi business organization «Kuzbass» and their families as well as supporting low-income groups, elderly people, orphans and disabled.

The foundation acts in accordance with a special program in order to revive spirituality and mercy. All the projects are realised in close cooperation with Christian communities of the enterprises. Each individual gets both pecuniary aid and spiritual help. Social, educational and medical organizations are also supported by the foundation.

«Community»

The program is aimed at preserving and promoting Orthodox traditions and spiritual values, churching the employees and pensioners of the enterprises, spiritual support to sick people, preparation of employees for sacraments.

The program includes such projects as «Divine activity», «Sisterhood», «Preparation for sacraments», «Information stands «Church bells”, «Counseling activity in guardianship organizations»

«Instruction»

Educational activity is carried out by means of talks with workers and pensioners and by means of consulting parishioners of churches and meetinghouses by priests and catechists about the basis of Orthodox religion.

Everybody can join a church library, attend meetings of Sunday school for children and for adults.

The program includes such projects as «Orthodox library», «Religious education at worksites», «Religious education in guardianship organizations», «Sunday school for children», «Sunday school for adults», «School of Orthodox leader», «Parish consulting».

«Charity»

The program is aimed at helping every employee in difficult life situations. Charitable foundation «Zarechie» provides pecuniary aid to low income groups: disabled, pensioners, single mothers, large families. Besides, the foundation supports budget organizations such as hospitals and schools. Polysaevsky orphanage, «Gnesdyshko» orphan asylum for children and teenagers, boarding school for blind and visually impaired children №23 in Polysaevo, «Raduga» orphanage and boarding school №13 in Yurga, hospitals for children in Leninsk-Kuznetsky, Polysaevo, Yurga are all in guardianship of the foundation. It doesn’t neglect elderly people from social support center for elderly people in Polysaevo. «Zarechie» foundation provides a lot of support to churches of Novokuznetsk and Kemerovo eparchies. With its help new churches are built and old ones are reconstructed.

The program includes such projects as «Helping children abandoned by parents», «Helping pensioners», «Helping employees and their families», «Helping social organizations», «Helping churches».

«Celebrations, festivals, competitions»

The program is aimed at reviving and promoting Orthodox values and culture, raising cultural level of people. Celebrations devoted to religious and professional holydays such as Christmas, Easter, Miners’ day and others became a tradition. The program involves arranging festivals and creative competitions in towns and in the region.

«Education»

«Zarechie» charitable foundation contributes to spiritual and moral upbringing of young people. In many schools in Polysaevo and Leninsk-Kuznetsky they organize optional classes in the basis of the Orthodox culture, provide children with text-books and teachers – with teaching aids. Now 22 student groups of different ages, each having about 20 children, are becoming familiar with moral values of the Orthodox church.

One of the main purposes of the foundation is reviving traditions of mercy, charity, service to the people. Anyone who really needs help and applies to «Zarechie» charitable foundation is sure to be helped regardless of age and social status.

«Kuzbass —sever» media center

«Kuzbass —sever» media center, an autonomous non-profit organization was established by «Yurginsky Mechanical Engineering Plant» open joint stock company. Its profile is informational support of the companies comprising multi business organization «Kuzbass», providing a quick, complete and adequate coverage in the local, regional and national mass media.

The issues covered include industrial topics, social initiatives. The local and corporate media affect the formation of the corporate culture in the companies. The objective of the media center is creation of the best environment for the achievement of MBO «Kuzbass» purposes.

«Kuzbass-sever» publishes a city newspaper Yurga , a corporate newspaper Zarechye , a magazine for children Shishkin Les, an orthodox newspaper for house churches of the MBO companies Vstrechya v Kuzbasse (A meeting in Kuzbass) . The total run of the printed matter reaches 34000 copies per month. In addition, presentations, advertising, catalogue, brochures and other types of printed matter are produced.

Television and video production is an important part of the media center activity. It includes preparing daily stories ad news programs for local TV companies, documentaries and video clips, commercials. Weekly stories for «The Ark of Kuzbass», which is a regional program, has a multimillion audience due to its retransmission on «Soyuz» channel. Every month more than 8 hours of TV «Kuzbass-sever» media center products are made, wire broadcasting at «Yurginsky Mechanical Engineering Plant» is organized. Outdoor advertising, mainly public service advertisement, is designed and put up.

«Kuzbass-sever» today is a united team of professionals who are able to use new technologies and great experience and meet the challenge in the sphere of communication. The prospects for further development and improvement are in widening the fields of activity.

Charity fund «Future of Kuzbass»

The regional charity fund «Future of Kuzbass» was founded in December 2004 on the base of Inter-College Clinic. The aim of the fund is to prevent aborts and support expectant mothers — students of higher educational institutions, technical and professional schools. Studies and unstable financial position quite often become the main reason for abortation. The fund protects and helps women and children under 3 years old. Its branches also operate in central hospitals of Anjero-Sudjensk, Leninsk-Kuznetsky and Kemerovo. The fund has already saved lives to 203 kids.
