The first local translation contest
The first local contest for the best technical translation has taken place in Yurga. The contest was held by Yurga Institute of Technology (branch) of Tomsk Polytechnic University and Yurga Engineering Plant. The results of the contest were announced early in December.

Zarechnaya’s coal on top of the world
2011 December 13th executives of Coal Company Zarechnaya had a meeting with mountain-climbers, which was devoted to results of passed expedition to the Himalayas.«Donbass and Kuzbass coal- on top of the world» project has started on 20th of September and lasted more than a month. A Russian-Ukrainian expedition was held under the motto «Two countries, two tops- united team» and consisted of mountain-climbers from Donetsk and Kemerovo region.

The results of coal mining enterprises of Coal Company Zarechnaya in 11 months of 2011
Over the past 11 months of 2011 enterprises of Coal Company Zarechnaya has produced 8,4 mln tons of coal, which is 0,9 mln tons more, than in the same period of 2010. Mine shaft sinkers have passed 27,6 km of mines and it exceeds the same figures of 2010 for more than 18%.

This November «Oktyabrsky» mine-site has started the development of long-wall face 1119, which is situated on the coal layer «Nadbaykaimsky». The course length of long-wall face is 220 meters.

6,5 million tons of coal were dispatched in the first 9 months of 2011 year, which is 250 thousand tons more, than in the same period of 2010. More than 22 kilometers of mines got ready. Last year it equaled 18 742 meters.
