Mine Zarechnaya (Coal Company Zarechnaya) has started production of new longwall-face, which capacity exceeds 2 mln tons.

Mine Zarechnaya has started production of new longwall-face 1305 on the Nadbaykaimsky layer, it’s reserve is more than 2 mln tons of coal.

The new longwall-face’s length is about 210 meters, on average power of 4,9 meter. For the first time Zarechnaya has used modern technologies of transportation and montage of assembled large sections of mechanized complex MKU 2SH — 26\53.

The reinstalling of machinery from longwall-face 1309, which is already produced, to the 1305 installation chamber was managed by specialists of Setup & Installation department. New longwall-face is equipped with EL 3000 combine, lava conveyor PF 4/1042, coal heading loader PF 4/1132 and burr mill SK 111. Preparing existing mines for transportation of assembled large sections of mechanized complex MKU 2SH — 26\53 has taken a lot of time. "Along 570 meters mine wasn’t enough high, we had to increase it from 3,5 to 5 meters — reports shift supervisor Jury Permyakov. — it required ground scallop, which was performed by combine and loading machine. In addition to the contractor enterprise teams of sector № 3, and GKR were involved into large-scale procedure of cross-section enlarge.

The average weight of every lining section is about 34 tons, the deliverance lever is 2670 meters. An operating monorail way had to be reinforced along the whole line. This work was mostly executed by specialists of VSHT sector, who has carried out the transportation of lining sections and support machinery by diesel vehicle. Specialists of № 1 sector have repaired terminal and transmission station of the face conveyor, scraper loader, a line of combine units and rotary motors. Before putting into operation all the mechanisms, hydraulics and automation, lightening, communication and voltage were examined.

Longwall-face 1305 preparation required mounting of belt conveyor 2PT-120 on the conveyor drift 1305 along 1650 meters and installation of new mainline conveyor 4L-1400 along 680 meters on a conveyor incline of Baykalimsky layer. "First ever Zarechnaya has applied chemical anchorage of main units for this type of conveyor, — Jury Permyakov says.- Traditionally, installation of drive units, extension parts and terminal stations was a time-consuming procedure, when soil was prepared and concreted. According to the new technology, 5 meter boreholes are drilled and rope anchors fix main unit stretchers. This method remarkably reduces time spent on main unit fixation.

Lava 1305 deposits will provide Jury Sapsin’s team with production face. In January they will extract 190 thsnd tons of coal from the new longwall-face with an average capacity of 7700 tons per day. In February Zarechnaya plans to reinstall mechanized complex GLINIK from longwall-face 1306 to longwall-face 1304.
